ambulance pullIMWS were delighted to make a donation to a worthwhile local cause during a fundraising activity in July.

Volunteers from ‘Dewsbury Ambulance Charity’ hit the roads of Batley pulling a real ambulance whilst collecting public donations to help the local ambulance service.

The ambulance pull began from Dewsbury Hospital and went through Batley before heading into Dewsbury and finishing in Earlsheaton. The three-hour charity pull on a hot summers Saturday morning raised just over £1300 for a worthwhile cause.

Chair of IMWS, Mohamed Mulla, presented the cheque for £250 on behalf of the Society to the lead person on the DAC team as it passed the Al-Hikmah Centre on the Saturday morning.

The raised fund will go towards providing better ambulance services throughout West Yorkshire.
